After a composite IBC is returned via Recover Syst-M, it is assessed and either washed or rebottled. Washed IBCs use the original bottle and cage, while rebottled IBCs receive a new bottle and use the original cage. All reconditioned IBCs, including composite, asset tanks, and all-plastic rotationally molded totes, go through a rigorous cleaning, repair, and quality process, maintaining their existing UN-rating if applicable.
