Mauser Packaging Solutions is looking for a passionate and highly motivated:

Project Engineering Manager Plastic (m/f/d)

based in our International Headquarters in Bruehl (Cologne area).

 

Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Manage industrial projects (e.g. ramp-ups, equipment relocation, new equipment installation, automation improvements);
  • Planning of projects in terms of time schedule, operations at the site and available resources; working closely with internal and external suppliers and a local project team;
  • Tracking of project milestones; identification of obstacles; Coordination and initiation of corrective actions;
  • Implement machine and process standards, in close contact with the process engineers of ME Plastic;
  • Planning, monitoring and reporting on project costs;
  • Open, regular and direct communication with all project stakeholders; regular reporting on project progress;
  • Alignment of the material flows and the workstation layouts with MMX;
  • Creating layouts in close cooperation with MMX and taking into account experience from existing sites and local operations;
  • Enforcement of standards with regard to production processes, product design and selection of equipment;
  • Contact person for open questions and problems; coordinating the cooperation of the relevant departments;
  • Clear definition of specifications for implementation by local teams, especially in the preparation of local infrastructure;

Your Ideal Profile:

  • University / business school degree in engineering;
  • Very good project management skills;
  • 2D CAD skills (plant layouts);
  • Experienced in extrusion blow molding, injection molding processes and equipment preferably industrial packaging and plant infrastructures;
  • 4+ years of experience managing technical projects / industrial projects;
  • Willingness to travel;
  • Openness and experience in dealing with different work cultures;
  • English and German (both fluently);
  • Motivation to work in a fast-paced multinational environment;
