Plant Controller Germany (m/f/d)

 

based in our International Headquarters in Bruehl (Cologne area).

 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Month-/Quarter-/ Year-end closing:
    • Conduct month-end closing activities in close coordination with the financial accounting department
    • Calculation of monthly accruals, e.g. for freight, energy
    • Coordination and preparation of reporting (P&L, Capex, Working Capital, Cash Flow)
    • Preparation of monthly target/actual comparisons and variance analyses
    • Interpretation and commentary of results for German production plants
    • Processing of inquiries from auditors
  • Cost center accounting
    • Administration of cost types and cost center plans
  • Product costing
    • Preparation of product costing
    • Determination of annual standard costs
    • Monitoring and adaptation of standard cost calculation
  • Budget planning/forecast
    • Creation of periodical and rolling forecasts
    • Execution of planning/budget processes
  • Project/special topics
    • Support of plant managers in financial topics
    • Preparation of ROI calculations
    • Further development and optimization of existing processes
    • Contact person for management in controlling matters
  • Other
    • Preparation of figures for state statistical offices (Intrastat etc.)
    • Ad-hoc analysis and other controlling tasks

 

YOUR IDEAL PROFILE:

  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Business administration or apprenticeship with relevant job experience
  • Excellent skills in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Experienced with ERP systems and controlling software
  • Knowledge of QAD, Tagetik or Onestream advantageous
  • +3 years of work experience in business controlling in multinational organization, preferably in industrial sector
  • Great communication skills in English & German (verbal & written)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Open for travel to plants
  • Hands-on mentality
