Mauser Packaging Solutions is looking for a passionate and highly motivated

International Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

 

based in our Office in Düsseldorf.

 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparation of reporting packages:
    • Close coorperation with local finance teams or external tax advisors in the monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities; Preparation of reporting packages in accordance with US GAAP and company policies based on local GAAP trial balances on a monthly basis for selected entities
  • Accounting Close process:
    • Review monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages from local finance teams in order to  maintain a high quality of financial reporting
  • Ad-hoc projects:
    • Support of national and international projects in direct coordination with the International Director Accounting and/or local finance teams; Support in the implementation of new accounting policies
  • Process Improvement & Accounting Harmonization:
    • Identify areas of improvement to support business objectives; Identify opportunities to stream line and standardize accounting processes
  • Internal controls:
    • Support in a strong SOX compliant structure and identify areas of controls improvement.
  • External Audit:
    • Being the contact for external auditors

 

YOUR IDEAL PROFILE:

  • Masters degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration; CPA is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge in IFRS; US-GAAP and SOX knowledge is a plus;
  • Fluent in English (speaking and writing) and intermediate German language skills
  • +5 years of combined work experience in Audit and/or Group Accounting & Consolidation preferably in a BIG4 firm and/or large multi-national manufacturing company
  • Hands-on mentality with the ability to work in a fast paced changing multi-national envi-ronment;
  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to partner with different levels in a matrix organization
