Business Analyst Shop Floor Applications (m/f/d)

based in our International Headquarters in Bruehl (Cologne area).

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with project sponsors to determine project scope and vision.
• Clearly identify project stakeholders
• Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, be they customers or end users
• Apply proven communication, analytical, and problemsolving skills to help the business make good technology decisions
• Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys,
• site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
• Proactive working with the IT Business Partner to look for new technologies to optimize business processes
• Play a pivotal role in ensuring IT’s understanding of business requirements
• Work in the area of production process applications on shop floor level, especially for scheduling, execution and reporting of manufacturing and intra-logistics within the plant & yard
• Identify and establish scope and parameters of requirements analysis on a project-byproject basis to define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics.

YOUR IDEAL PROFILE:

• College/ University degree in business administration, computer science or information technology (Bachelor IT)
• Deep knowledge of core business process and operations in a manufacturing organization;
• Experience with business and technical requirement analysis, modeling and methodology development;
• Good knowledge of design, development and implementation of software and hardware products;
• Working knowledge of network, hardware and PC operating system, general IT
• Excellent communication skills in German and Englisch written and verbal in technical and user-friendly language;
• Proven Project management skills;
• Highly self-motivated and strong customer service orientation;
• Experience working independent and collaborative in multicultural environment;
