Area Sales Representative (m/f/d)

 

based in our International Headquarters in Bruehl (Cologne area).

 

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serving the existing and new regional customer base
    • Acquisition
    • Establish and expansion of market shares
    • Quotation, tracking and negotiation
    • Enforcing price increases according to specifications
    • Reporting
  • Negotiation of claims after coordination with and as specified by the Regional Sales Manager
  • Support of existing customers
  • Expansion of existing business relationships
  • Building new contacts, developing new segment businesses and acquiring new businesses
  • Incorporation of Reconditioning services
  • Development of action plans to secure the existing business and to acquire new business areas (implementation of the bundling strategy)
  • Monitoring of business developments and forecasts for the current fiscal year (in the region responsible) regarding to the current market situation, competitors and regulations (BAM, IMDG etc.)
  • Price responsibility for existing business (price adjustments to non-index linked customers and implementation of price adjustments, indexed customers including the lag effect reduction project)
  • tracking payment methods (DSO, payment terms, credit insurance)
  • Observe market trends and competitor development
  • Customer Visits
  • Create a two week meeting schedule including including information where and what customers will be met

 

YOUR IDEAL PROFILE:

  • University degree or technical/commercial focused apprenticeship
  • Experienced with MS Office
  • Proficient English and German language
  • Packaging and market know-how
  • Minimum 4 years in Sales or Customer Service preferably in the packaging industry
  • Hands-on mentality, Self-initiative, Assertiveness, Team and customer-orientated work habit, Negotiation skills, Willingness to travel 50% and more
