At Mauser Packaging Solutions, we remain committed to reducing our carbon footprint. That’s why we’re excited to expand our offering of environmentally-friendly packaging with the UN-rated, tight-head container made from 100% post-consumer resin (PCR)!
The new 100% PCR tight-head container features recycled resin that’s produced in-house at Mauser Packaging Solutions. Empty industrial packaging, either our own or our competitors, that would otherwise be sent to a landfill is collected, sorted, washed, and repelletized. This unique closed-loop material stream ensures a consistent, high-quality supply of PCR that gives plastic materials new life, reduces industrial waste, and has a smaller carbon footprint.
The new UN-rated tight-head container is ideal for use in a variety of industries including oil, building products, industrial chemicals, janitorial-sanitation, car care, and paints and coatings. It is currently available in 20L and 5G sizes and meets UN requirements for packaging groups II and III without the need for an outer pack carton. Additionally, it satisfies California Prop. 65 requirements for Rigid Plastic Packaging Containers (RPPC).
“Our goal is to provide customers, and the market, with packaging that has a positive impact on businesses and the planet. The UN-rated, 100% PCR tight-head does both. It’s an innovative packaging solution that meets rigorous performance requirements while promoting the circular economy and preserving natural resources,” said Brian Cooke, President, Small Packaging.
The 100% PCR tight-head container is part of a broader tight-head product portfolio. Containers are available in a vast range of sizes, shapes, and colors with a variety of closures and dispensing options.
