IT Application Manager Custom Apps (m/f/d)
Mauser Packaging Solutions is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Application Manager.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing all IT Product Lifecycle in Mauser International (MIPS) for Custom Applications.
- Take ownership of the entire IT product lifecycle for custom applications within Mauser International (MIPS).
- Define and standardize the technology stack for custom application development, guiding internal teams and external vendors in the implementation of these standards.
- Develop and enforce policies for both in-house development and external partners to ensure a consistent and harmonized approach across all custom applications.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure compliance with policies, guidelines, and quality standards.
- Lead the Architectural Review Board (ARB) process for new MIPS custom applications in collaboration with external suppliers and development partners.
- Establish guidelines and drive the implementation of best practices in test management, including automated testing.
- Work from one of our Mauser locations in Germany, the Netherlands, France, Poland, Turkey, Spain, Italy, or the UK, with a willingness to travel regularly to our headquarters in Bruehl, Germany
YOUR IDEAL PROFILE:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year experience in full stack development, application and vendor management, business analysis or process management
- Strong skills in MS SQL, Azure (cloud-native), and O365 ecosystem
- Proficient in JavaScript with React or Angular
- Experience in digitalization projects
- Debugging and troubleshooting capabilities
- Test management experience with developers and users
- Good understanding of lifecycle management for custom Azure applications
- Knowledge of IT processes (incident, problem, change, project management)
- Ability to manage and challenge vendors and partners on SLAs/KPIs
- Comfortable working in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills across teams
- Hands-on mentality, able to prioritize and multi-task
- Fluent in English and German
