The importance of sustainability to our business is reflected in our mission, cornerstones, goals, and tagline, \u201cRedefining Sustainability.\u201d Our unique ability to close the packaging life cycle loop is the foundation through which Mauser Packaging Solutions creates positive, lasting change.<\/p>\n

We realize we have a unique opportunity and responsibility to pave the way for an even brighter future \u2013 for our employees, customers, investors, and communities. By taking the next steps in our sustainability journey, we are building a robust plan and responsible business strategy focused on giving more and taking less.<\/p>\n

Delivering on our Ambition of \u201cRedefining Sustainability\u201d<\/h3>\n

Sustainability means more than just reducing our environmental footprint. It also means investing in employees, increasing our positive impact on the communities in which we operate, creating value for customers and investors, and delivering innovative solutions that promote the circular economy.<\/p>\n

To help us navigate this landscape, we partnered with an industry leading firm in early 2020. The work we are doing is focused on answering four questions:<\/p>\n

  1. What are our environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strengths and weaknesses?<\/li>\n
  2. What are the most material Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) risks and opportunities to our business?<\/li>\n
  3. How can we begin to operationalize a responsible business strategy and work toward the right set of goals?<\/li>\n
  4. How can we optimally communicate our strategy and progress externally?<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    At the end of this process, we will have a defined, meaningful set of global sustainability goals and targets as well as a sustainability report. The report will share stories about the work we are doing, details about our operations, and will define our vision for the future.<\/p>\n

    Sustainability takes all of us. It is a shared, global effort and we are proud to be an active contributor. We look forward to sharing more information on our journey in the coming months. Our team is passionate and excited to take the next steps, and we hope you are too.<\/p>\n
