Mauser Packaging Solutions Earns Environmental Award in Brazil

Mauser Packaging Solutions’ facilities in Suzano and Taubate, Brazil were recently awarded an “Outstanding Environmental Preservation” certificate and Green Seal from the Jornal do Meio Ambiente de São Paulo, Brazil.

The Jornal do Meio Ambiente de São Paulo grants the "Outstanding Environmental Preservation" certificate to companies with up-to-date environmental licenses, zero environmental infractions, and superior achievement supporting environmental preservation. Mauser Packaging Solutions is the only company in the industrial packaging segment to receive this recognition.

Launched in 2005, the recognition is made by official environmental authorities (CETESB, CONAMA, Ministry of Environment and IBAMA) based on the following criteria: resource efficiency and sustainable consumption, waste management, air emission control, environmental training, and education. Only companies in full compliance with environmental regulations (federal, state and local) are considered
